IMPORTANT APPLICANT INFO: Public Housing Waiting List Updates in Process - How to Remain Active on the Wait List

We are conducting waiting list updates on our current Levy/Gilchrist and Suwannee County Public Housing waiting lists. This information is designed to help you remain active on the list. 

• At this time, we are reviewing applicant information to ensure our records are accurate and up to date. NCFRHA will be mailing and emailing Purge/Update letters to the last address and/or email reported to our agency for all applicants who are currently on our Levy/Gilchrist and Suwannee Public Housing Waiting lists. These notices will go out no later than Tuesday, February 10, 2026, to applicants. 

• If you are unable to access the letter that was sent to you, you may notify us by email, fax, mail, applicant portal, or handwritten notice that you wish to remain on the Public Housing waiting lists by March 12, 2026, by 4:00 PM.

              Please include the following information in your notice:

• Full name
• Date of birth
• Last four digits of your Social Security number
• If any of your contact information has changed, such as your address, phone number, or email address, please include the updated information as well.

• You must follow the directions and meet the deadlines. If you do not return items by the deadline of March 12, 2026, by 4:00 PM, you will be removed from the waiting list. 

To check your current waiting list status and number, you may select the WAITING LIST STATUS button on the home page of our website and search for your social security number. 

In the unfortunate event that you do find you are no longer active on the waiting list, you do have the right to request a review of the decision. You will submit your request to housing@ncfrha.com and supply any documents that support your request as well as any additional information the Housing Authority requests to complete the review. A review of the decision does not guarantee that the decision will change.

This notice does not indicate that housing assistance is immediately available or that our waiting list is open for new applicants.
